Who We Are:
ABOUT US: We both have loved creating with textiles from early ages. Kathryn learned at a very early age to crochet, sitting by her grandmother side watching what "Maw-Maw" did. Receiving a sewing machine at an early age, Kathryn sewed many garments for herself and later for her 5 children. Now as a retired school teacher, her interests have expanded into the wonderful world of quilting. Kathryn's daughter, Gina, began sewing at a very early age. The first day after school was out when Gina had just completed the 4th grade, Kathryn still had work at school. Gina called on the phone and asked if she could make a dress. So without any assistance from mom, Gina completely made a dress, entered it in the West Texas Fair and won Best of Show with it. Gina now is a busy mother of 5 and digitizes embroidery designs for sell on the internet. We both are looking forward to Quilt Kits & Quarters growing to a site that will create a wonderful lasting relationship between us and our customers. It is our desire to be available to you, our prized customers, and to serve you well with outstanding quality of products and customer service.
